To set up your Microsoft Outlook MAC:
1.Open Outlook.
2. Open tools, then Account
3. Select the + sign at the bottom left of the account window to create a new E-mail account
4.Click on Email account.
In Email Address enter : your email address (i.e yourname@yourdomain.com).
Then in Password enter :your password & retype it in Retype Password.5. In Personal information :
- n Full Name Write :your Name or your company name whatever you want your recipients see when they receive an email from you.
- In E-mail Address enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).
6. In server information :
- In username enter : your email address (i.e yourname@yourdomain.com).
Then in Password enter :your password.- In Type choose : IMAP
- In Incoming mail server enter : incoming servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: ds01.nilehosting.com or leap.nilehosting.com )
- Check Right in override default Port box
- Then in Port enter : 143
- In outgoing mail server enter : incoming servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: ds01.nilehosting.com or leap.nilehosting.com )
- Check Right in override default Port box
- Then in Port enter : 25 or 587
7. Click Add account
8.Click on more options
9. In Authentication : choose Use Incoming Server Info
10.Click Ok
11. Close the Accounts window.
12.Your account now appears on the left-side of Outlook 2011.
13.Click Send/Receive.
Congratulations. You’ve now configured Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac to send and receive email using IMAP
