Setting up your email account using IMAP protocol on BlackBerry

1.On the Home screen go to Set Up.

2.Select Email Accounts.

3.Select the account type Internet Mail Account.

4.Select the account type Other.

5.In Email Setup

In Email Address enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).

Then in Password enter :your password.

6.Click Continue.

7.Select : I will provide the settings

Note: In some cases, "I will provide the settings" may not appear. To force this option to appear, enter an invalid email address such as user@domain.com and an invalid password.

Be sure to re-type the correct email and password once the advanced settings are made available.

8.Select POP/IMAP.

9.Click Continue.

10.In provide Email Settings.

In Email Server enter: incoming servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: ds01.nilehosting.com or leap.nilehosting.com ).

In user name enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).

11.Click Continue.

12.Enter the outgoing Server settings;

In Email Server enter: incoming servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: mail.yourdomain.com ).

In user name enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).

13.Click OK to complete the setup.
