Setting up Email using IMAP protocol on iPad For Tedata Users




Configure iPad

1.Open Settings on your iPad

2.Select mail,other,calenders

 

3.Select Other.

 

4.Enter your email information:

5.In Your Name write: your Name or your company name whatever you want your recipients see when they receive an email from you.

6.In  Address enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).

7.Then in Password enter :your password.

8.Click Enter.

9.In the account information:

  • Choose IMAP
  • In Your Name write: your Name or your company name whatever you want your recipients see when they receive an email from you.
  • In  Address enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).
  • Then in Password enter :your password.

10.In Incoming mail server:

  • In Host name enter: incoming servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: ds01.nilehosting.com or leap.nilehosting.com ).
  • In user name enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).
  • In Password enter :your password.

11.In Outgoing mail server

  • In Hostname enter: outgoing servers you received in your welcome email (I.e ….enter: mail.yourdomain.com ).
  • In user name enter : your email address (i.e userrname@yourdomain.com).
  • In Password enter :your password

12.We recommend you disable SSL.

13.Click Yes 




14.Then Go to SMTP, in the outgoing server port click 587






15.Once the account is successfully added, you are taken to the inbox.

Congratulations! You're done configuring your mail to send and receive messages.
